Advanced GIS Implementation Plan and Business Process Redesign with Bid Documents

Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA)

HDM developed a strategic plan for the implementation of an Enterprise wide GIS system for this 4 million customer government owned utility. With no existing maps or facility data, the system required design from a zero existing data base level. HDM reviewed existing business processes at PREPA, and made site visits to regional facilities to view fieldwork management and operations. A strategic plans was developed to ensure an integrated GIS / WMS, and to maximize benefits from GIS Technology.
