Environmental Pipeline Mapping
US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
HDM was a subcontractor on a multi-year, nationwide Natural Gas Pipeline Route Mapping project. To comply with FERCs Environmental Impact Analysis requirements, HDM was contracted to perform Pipeline Route Mapping and GIS analysis of the environmental effects of pipeline construction. This was the first FERC sponsored project where GIS technology was applied for this type of compliance measurement.
