High Speed Surface Transportation Study

HDM was a key participant in this study to assess the effects of High Speed Surface Transportation (HSST), including magnetic levitation (MAGLEV) techniques and high-speed rail service, on the transportation network between Boston and New York City, via Albany. HDM provided a GIS-based right-of-way corridor analysis that studied the environmental, economic and land use impacts of the proposed improvements in transportation routes.
