V-BIZ™ - the Visual Intelligence System - supports data-intensive mapping systems, enabling rapid mapping application development, and super-charged web-based mapping within a multi-tier system. It enables multiple application processing over the Internet and wireless systems.

HDM's V-BIZ™ platform incorporates mapping display engines and open source / open standard Web Mapping Server (WMS). These systems can be customized to integrate with a client's existing GIS web platform or other software, and can be easily provided as OEM for other vendors.

V-BIZ™ is designed to meet interoperability open systems standards established by the Open GIS Consortium (OGC) and other open standards groups. This enables HDM's technology to provide maximum strategic value while minimizing software costs wherever possible.

HDM's interoperable technology components are all based on our exclusive V-BIZ™ design methodology, and can be used individually or as a complete system.

For example, HDM's wireless solutions can be used in conjunction with our open standard Internet map compilation platform. HDM's XML based worldwide geocoding engine integrates with our other V-BIZ components. And, our online quality control systems can access our web mapping engine to show potential data issues in real time.
