HDM customized its 'Best in Class' web-based international geocoding application for a major insurance company. This interactive web-based system enables users to login and obtain latitude and longitude coordinates for international cities by entering country and city name, or by clicking on an interactive map. A model was developed in Oracle to code international cities with multiple geo-location points. A batch geocoding program with ftp access was also developed for users who have large databases to geocode. The system has provided geocodes for millions of U.S. and international locations to date.
