This 'First in Class' system organizes data from numerous federal and public data sources supporting FEMA's Mitigation programs and initiatives. This is the first system to integrate all of FEMA's official natural hazard data, with an online data exchange capability, creating the first national All Hazards Portal for the United States. In the Mitigation Atlas, users are able to view data availability and coverage for specific geographic locations using an on-line mapping server to preview spatial data. The Clearinghouse provides an interface for users to download desired data. Authorized users are able to upload additional data and perform maintenance functions.
